The Foundation’s 2020 tournament was cancelled due to the COVID-19 pandemic. The 2019 event was very successful with more than 80 golfers and volunteers in attendance! The Foundation raised over $12,000 to help address the needs of older adults by supporting programs of the Riverside County Office on Aging. Sponsors for the event included Inland Empire Health Plan (IEHP), Abbott Labs, Altura Credit Union, United Domestic Workers Union (UDW), Fusion Signs, Golden Era Productions, and the Riverside County Office on Aging. We greatly appreciate your participation, cooperation and support in making the Foundation on Aging Golf Tournament a success and look forward to a great season in 2021.
We invite everyone, businesses and individuals to join us as a sponsor for this event and take advantage of this opportunity to promote your company and its products/services. Gift Certificates from area restaurants, retail stores, raffle prizes and gift donations are also gladly accepted.

You can help the Foundation on Aging achieve its goal of making sure senior centers and other community organizations in Riverside County receive grocery/meal gift cards for distribution to needy seniors. Send your tax-deductible donation to: Foundation on Aging, P.O. Box 2099, Riverside, CA 92516
The Foundation on Aging has been involved with the distribution of Holiday Gift Cards to needy seniors throughout Riverside County for several years. During the 2019 holiday season, the Foundation on Aging distributed 1,499 grocery store gift cards to Senior Centers throughout Riverside County.
This is a statement from one senior center director, “each senior citizen who received these gift cards were touched deeply. All expressed their gratitude, a few were brought to tears, and many said that the card was the only gift they would be receiving this holiday season.”
According to a survey of Congregate Meal program participants conducted by the Riverside County Office on Aging in 2019, 43% of respondents stated that they do not always have enough money to buy food. Sadly, many seniors must choose between paying their bills and buying food. It is for this reason that the Foundation on Aging will continue to focus on senior nutrition and again assist seniors during the holidays.
The Foundation exists to support the work of the Riverside County Office on Aging, and other new and innovative programs that sustain and enhance the quality of life of older adults.
Each year the Foundation on Aging continues to work to strengthen, expand and support senior programs and help make a difference in the lives of seniors in Riverside County. The Foundation is incorporated as a 501(c) (3) (Tax ID #20-1813339) and is completely funded through local donations.
